 The simple beauty of Mountain House Ranch — still ponds, wide-open pasture, wildflowers after a rain, and all the critters. These photos follow the land through the seasons: first light stretching across the grass, a storm rolling over the hills, and the quiet that settles in when the sun drops below the horizon. These are a small glimpse of the land that, for over 50 years, we've worked hard to manage, improve, and preserve for generations to come. 

Mountain House Ranch is home to a thriving ecosystem shaped by native grasses, clean water, and a commitment to conservation. From white-tailed deer and migrating birds to spring bluebonnets and golden prairie sunsets, this land offers a glimpse into the quiet, rugged beauty of rural Texas. We maintain habitat diversity through responsible land management—prescribed grazing, pond preservation, and ongoing restoration—allowing wildlife, pollinators, and native plants to flourish. We also believe in having a little fun!
